1. Chat & Community Rules
1.1 Abusing Chat
- Spamming, flooding chat, or repeatedly posting similar messages is prohibited.
- Advertising or promoting other Minecraft servers is not allowed.
1.2 Respect & Conduct
- Treat all members with respect. No harassment, hate speech, or discrimination.
- Political or religious debates that may cause conflict or disrupt the community are not allowed. This also includes praising, joking about, or glorifying illegal acts or real-world tragedies (e.g., self-harm or terrorism).
2. General Conduct Rules
2.1 Failing to assist staffing

If you witness a rule violation, you are expected to report it to staff. Intentionally hiding rule-breaking is not permitted.

Lying to staff members or submitting false, altered, or misleading evidence is prohibited.
2.2 Server Safety

Any form of harassment, grooming, or illegal sexual interaction involving minors will result in severe punishment.

Never share, leak, or threaten to share personal or private information that could endanger or identify another player.
2.3 Minecraft Terms of Service

All players must comply with Minecraft’s Terms of Service while playing on Aechronis.

Trading or exchanging in-game items, currency, or services for real-world money is not allowed.
3. Gameplay Rules
3.1 Exploits & Bugs
- Exploiting bugs, glitches, or unintended game mechanics to gain an advantage is prohibited.
- If you discover an exploit—especially one that is game-breaking—you must report it to staff immediately.
- Obtaining items through prohibited means (such as duping, glitching, or abnormal mining rates) is forbidden. If you believe an item was obtained due to a bug, report it.
- Vehicles such as artillery, mortars, or tanks are not permitted in KOTH.
3.2 Alternate Accounts

Alternate accounts (alts) are not permitted unless explicitly approved by staff via a Discord ticket.

You may not have an alt in another nation.
3.3 Spawn Camping
- Camping town spawn locations outside of wartime is not allowed.
4. Build Regulations
4.1 Building Violations
- Nerd poles may not exceed 10 blocks in height and must be removed within 24 hours.
- All nation builds must align with the current iteration’s theme.
- Fast-travel systems (such as ice highways) are not allowed.
- Meme builds or large off-theme structures (bases, walls, etc.) are strictly prohibited.
- Massive, featureless walls, oversized trap systems, or similar structures are not allowed.
- Traps designed to instantly kill players or deal passive damage are prohibited.
- Walls that prevent players from entering your town are fully no longer allowed and will be removed and the person who created them will get punished.
- Trenches and dug-out fortifications may be no wider than 7 blocks; airlocks are permitted.
- Chunk forts must be fully navigable and functional—not spammed gank-and-trench designs.
- Ambush forts (“ganks”) larger than 5×5 blocks are prohibited.
4.2 Griefing
- Excessive griefing of structures—including wilderness builds and ports—is prohibited.
5. Nation Rules
5.1 Leader Responsibility
- Nations must be formed with genuine intent to actively participate for the duration of the iteration.
- Nation leaders and officers are responsible for enforcing rules among their members. Failure to do so may result in punishment.
- Blacklisted players may not be invited, assisted, or supported in any capacity.
- Nation leaders may not abandon or leave their nation.
5.2 Insiding
- Insiding, storage wiping, or other malicious internal actions are strictly prohibited. Members may only leave with items stored in their personal chests. Refunds for insiding require proof of significant loss.
5.3 Town Property
- Town owners reserve the right to confiscate all items within their town. Items belonging to removed members become town property.
5.4 Staff Approval
- Staff approval is required to create, delete, or merge a nation.
5.5 Town Manipulation
- Towns may not be created or removed solely to gain unfair advantages, such as spawn relocation or war staging.
6. Mods & Clients
6.1 Allowed Mods
- Default Lunar Client, Feather Client, and approved utility mods (e.g., Error Utils).
- Minimaps with player radar are allowed.
- Replay Mod
- Client-side health indicators.
- Litematica and Schematica easy-place features (only Litematica’s printer is approved). These may not be used for PvP or wartime block placement.
- Downloading schematics of your own builds is allowed; accessing others’ bases or schematics is prohibited.
6.2 Disallowed Mods & Clients
- Any modification that grants unfair or impossible advantages in vanilla gameplay.
- Automation scripts or macros for mining, building, or repetitive actions (including mouse-button macros).
- ESP, enhanced name tags, X-ray, or vision-based hacks.
- Hacked clients or combat-altering mods such as freecam.
- VPN use requires a nation leader to vouch for the player. If the VPN user is banned or blacklisted, the vouching leader will be punished.
- Artillery or mortar calculator programs are prohibited; basic spreadsheet distance calculations are allowed.
6.3 Screen Shares
- Staff may request a screenshare or PC scan at any time to check for cheating software. Refusal or logging out during the screenshare will result in punishment.
- Players that refuse or dodge screenshares will receive an iteration ban. Repeat offenders will be blacklisted.
- If you are caught with hacked clients during your screenshare, you will receive an iteration ban. Illegal mods (ex. player mini-map, freecam) will result in a one week ban.
7. Discord Rules
7.1 Discord Terms of Service
- Any violation of Discord’s Terms of Service in the official Aechronis Discord will result in a ban.
7.2 Content Restrictions
- NSFW, excessively violent, or gory content is not allowed.
- Hate speech is moderated in all public channels, including nation-operated channels.
7.3 Illegal Activity
- Discussing real-world illegal activities is prohibited.
- Ban weaponization or blackmail of any kind is forbidden.
7.4 Ticket rules
- Evidence for punishments under five days is only valid for 24 hours.
- Ticket-lawyering or spamming tickets to argue punishments is not allowed.
8. Warzone Rules
8.1 Node Flipping
- Node flipping is only allowed if all of the following conditions are met:
- No player is currently flagging the node
- The node has not been flagged within the past 15 minutes
- There is no active combat at the node
- Both attackers and defenders agree to the flip
8.2 Warzone Building Violations
- Blocking, trapping, or building around warzone entrances or exits is forbidden.
- The construction of chunk-forts or “meme forts” in or on the edge of warzones is allowed, however they may be removed by staff following the conclusion of the warzone event.
- Permanent or passive-damage traps are not allowed.
8.3 Node Ownership
- Unless otherwise stated, only nations bordering the warzone may retain nodes afterward.
8.4 Standard War Rules
- All standard war rules apply within warzones.
9. General War Rules
9.1 Nation Changes During War
- Towns or nations may not be deleted, split, created, merged, or reorganized while at war or actively preparing for war. This includes relocating populations within your nation.
9.2 Town Switching
- Switching towns or nations within 24 hours of a war is prohibited. Excessive “town hopping” may result in staff punishment.
9.3 War Surrender
- If the majority of a nation’s online players log off during an active war, that nation is considered to have surrendered immediately.
9.4 Friendly Sabotage
- Griefing, sabotaging, or otherwise harming your own faction (e.g., breaking friendly flags or team-killing) is strictly forbidden.
9.5 Rebellion
- Leaving your nation without formally declaring war (rebelling) is not allowed. Ceding nodes without nation leader approval is also prohibited.
9.6 Conquered Towns
- Conquered or merged towns may not leave the conquering nation unless given permission by a staff member.
9.7 Attacker Permissions
- If your town is captured, you may not revoke attacker permissions during the war.
9.8 Post-Capture Combat
- Once your town has fallen, you may not assist allies or resume fighting until the war has officially ended.
10. War Mechanics & Restrictions
10.1 Flag Placement
- Flags must either touch natural terrain (such as trees) within three blocks of ground level or connect to an existing defender-built structure. Players actively flagging a chunk are considered the attackers.
10.2 Sky Platforms
- Building sky platforms or bridging through open air to capture territory is not allowed.
10.3 Artillery Placement
- All artillery must be placed at ground level on existing structures or battlements.
10.4 Artillery Tunneling
- Using artillery or tanks to tunnel underground is prohibited.
10.5 Node Exploits
- Node flipping through exploits (such as attacking from non-bordering chunks) is strictly banned.
10.6 Flag Entombing
- Flag entombing—placing blocks within two blocks of a flag to enclose it—is not allowed.
10.7 Boat Exploit
- Using boats to negate fall damage while breaking flags is prohibited.
11. War Declaration
11.1 Declaration Requirement
- All wars must be formally declared in a public nation announcement and accompanied by an appropriate roleplay (LARP-based) announcement message.
12. War Annexation
12.1 Node Annexation
- Each successfully captured node will be formally annexed into the conquering nation at the conclusion of the war.
13. War Combat Rules
13.1 Town Entrances
- Town entrances may be sealed for war. However, they must be unsealed afterwards.
13.2 Combat Participants
- Combat may only take place between members of officially warring factions.
13.3 Neutral Protection
- Neutral towns, staff towns, and neutral ports may not be attacked or camped.
13.4 Spawn Protection
- Spawn is a designated safezone. Attempting to shove or force players during wartime within spawn is prohibited.
13.5 War Looting
- During the active war period, combatants may pillage and loot chests or storage belonging to enemy towns.
13.6 Post-War Looting
- Looting or pillaging after the war period has ended is strictly forbidden.
Staff reserve the right to issue bans or punishments at their discretion.
